9 Oddly Mesmerizing Tiny Paintings

9 Oddly Mesmerizing Tiny Paintings

Hello! Would you like to paint? [MUSIC] Alright, so I went scissor-crazy, and I cut out a bunch of these (tiny paintings) so I’m
going to leave a border around all the edges and paint on a one by one area. And we’re gonna do a lot of these. So… stick around! [MUSIC] Alright, let’s get some tape down on this baby! [MUSIC} Alright, let’s lay down some really really light blue. [MUSIC] *obnoxious hair dryer* That works! That actually works so good! It dried! I literally feel like a magician right now. That was so cool! Okay, let’s get a smaller brush, because this is a small painting. Let me tell you what.. Alright, the second layer of the mountains… Here we go! [MUSIC] Oh, this is sweet! Alright, time to dry this bad boy! *the hair dryer speaks wisdom* [MUSIC] Alright, now for the most satisfying
part… Tearing the tape ball off! Oh yeah! *satisfying tape peeling* Aww yeah! Look at that line! *more oddly satisfying tape peeling ASMR* Here’s our first tiny painting! Ahhh! What a little baby! [MUSIC] I thought it would be fun to do some other leaves in the background.. and then have them just be like silhouettes. I like these leaves because they’re shaped like hearts. So that’s really cute! [MUSIC] Okay… best part right here… I really think the border makes the
painting. If it didn’t have the border, it would probably not look so great. Maybe we should do something cutesy! Got this pink… [MUSIC] Okay, I’m doing a striped
background because it needs help. Some sort of detail here, right? Yeah! So I made this a little dark. We’re gonna remedy that situation with a little bit of gouache. Here’s our little teddy bear! What a cutie! Okay, how can you do a tiny painting
video without doing a galaxy? I don’t think you can. We’re gonna do it! Okay, let’s get this ready. *beat boxing noises* Baby canvas, here you are. *tape tearing* I’m gonna spray this… Do a little bit of hot pink… OoOoOh!! Look at that! Oh so satisfying! I think we can just stop here, right? [MUSIC] Do a little bit of purple right here? Some more blue… Let’s do some splatter paint! Oh, that didn’t go as well as I had hoped… That’s okay… That’s sweet, that’s sweet! Hey, it almost matches my nails though, so… We’ve got that going for us… Alright, let’s do a fun little floral one for this… [MUSIC] It’s so delicate, heh. [MUSIC] I think this one is honestly my
favorite one of all of them that I’ve done, because I like florals. I really do. I’m really drawn to like loose floral watercolor paintings. That’s usually the style that
I like when other artists paint, So this is fun! I think I would like to do another
plant one, honestly. I hope you guys are as excited about it as I am! We’re doing monstera leaves this time! [MUSIC] Alright, this happy little tropical one… Took a little longer… Those monstera leaves were a little
detailed with the little brush. You want me to tear the tape away from
you guys? Looking mega cute, mega cute! I just laid down a really light blue. I’m gonna let this dry *hair dryer speaking lava air* I would love to do like a miniature Copenhagen kind of city. [MUSIC] OOPS (artsy accident) [MUSIC] Look at this contrast! Beautiful! [MUSIC] How cute! Look at those little doorknobs! I should probably change this paint water. Lolololol ewwwwieeeee! We take a wild guess what we’re
doing on this one… I’m excited about it. Okay, we’re going to paint some little mountains… [MUSIC] HUEH!! Yes! This one is done! Let’s peel the tape! Oh man, we have a little bit of leakage! Look at that cutie! It’s like a little painting family A baby series! I thought it would be fun to
mess around with different types of lighting for this one.. so I was really in the mood to do this one though. So the idea I have for this one is kind of difficult to be honest… but I’m gonna take a little bit of this skin tone, and just do a wash… Okay, I’ve got my beautiful Essence Palette from Prima Watercolor here. It’s a hot mess, but
we’re gonna use it… [MUSIC] This is actually something I’ve had a huge interest in doing for the last year pretty much… So I’m hoping to keep practicing this.. [MUSIC] Now let’s go in with a little bit of
orange… [MUSIC] Alright, that concludes our tiny paintings. I think my favorite one is the
water one. It was really fun to practice on a scale this small… and I’m excited to do a bigger painting like this one day (soon.. hinting at my next video). These ones are definitely my second favorites. I thought it was fun to mess
with different types of lighting, but do a very similar painting. Monet actually did this a lot, and I thought it was cool when I saw his paintings in person. and I don’t know.. This just reminded me of him even though it’s not his style. But yeah, these small florals were also really fun just because it was kind of like… surface design, and I don’t know.. Creating patterns with botanicals is really fun, right?! Yes! Just say yes! [MUSIC] Okay, I hope you enjoyed this, and I’ll see you soon in another video! Bye guys!

I really love this idea, I've got sooo much inspiration from this video, especially from the different toned mountain & trees ones, I'm thinking a whole collection of going through the seasons, but not just doing the normal four seasons, spring, summer, autumn & winter…
I'm thinking going through the seasons at a slower pace perhaps using the seasonal solstice's…?
Sooo many ideas, thank you sooo much for sharing your beautiful artwork with us, you are truly inspirational…

  12. Soo beautifullllllllllll drawings ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ i love't and I love you soooo much โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
    I like you drawings

  13. Wow! Tiny paintings must be popular right now because you and Kaseu Golden have both recently posted a video about them. :-O

  14. I'm a day late in watching this, but honestly the B-roll footage at the end was the most satisfying thing ever. ๐Ÿค—

  15. Do you know create this book if you don't create this book is from a YouTuber called moriah Elizabethโ™ฅ๏ธ she's also really creative and the book words like this you there's something written in the book and then it will give you ideas to draw something in it๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ

  16. You should do small landscapes of all 50 states or the flowers of the 50 states in this size! It would be so cool to see them all displayed together!

  17. Okay. know what I will be doing tommorow!
wanted to do something art related but nothing too big and something super relaxing. and this is it.

    thank you for the idea.

ps. i remember when you were stuck at like ~45k or something and then you started to show more you and developed your own video format etc.
i remember when you started doing that I showed it to my boyfriend and said you will blow up soon. and that did happen xD 120k +now. thats so awesome.

  18. Man, I do love watching other people work on tiny paintings. Itโ€™s fun to see the design choices, how they reduce a concept to as few of elements as possible. And if itโ€™s a group of them, right in the middle where the creative juices are flowing and they find their groove and just go for it. When that restriction (size) that they put on themselves begins to inspire them and give them more ideas. Itโ€™s such a great exercise for composition and readability.

Definitely making me want to cut down some paper.

I would consider all of these successes. Plus itโ€™s undeniable that you enjoyed yourself which Iโ€™ll admit are my favorite videos.

I really hope you consider trying to make the water one into a repeatable pattern with some (I imagine) serious finagling in photoshop. It would be so cool and cute!

  19. I'm kind of a bit surprised that you didn't make a little moth painting in this series. But hey, maybe that's another idea! You could make another little painting series and make them all moth themed โ˜บ loved your video tho. I love all your videos โค keep progressing Mira, you're doing amazing!

  20. I hope you are having a great day Mira!!Iโ€™m a HUGE fan of Billie Eilish and I wore one of her hoodies to school. I got made fun of, but Iโ€™m not gonna let those haters take ME down! Love ya Mira!!! You always make me in a good mood โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

  21. I have a cool video idea! So you know how colored pencils, markers, watercolors or paints usually have cool names? You could draw a picture of whatever the name of the art supply color is! Ex. If you had a brown watercolor called bear, you would paint a bear using only that color of watercolor! I think this would be fun and interesting to do!

  22. This was really cute! I think the water one was my favorite too! I really like the boarders on those little paintings! When I tape my work down I always do it so thin! Maybe I'll try thicker ones.
    The leaves were also adorable!

  23. Hi Mira my name is Ben and Iโ€™m 11. Ever since Iโ€™ve been interested in art Iโ€™ve always wanted alcohol based brush markers but for me they are really expensive and I canโ€™t get them. Do you have any tips please.

  24. I get this notification just as I'm painting little puzzle pieces…. bought a puzzle at the dollar tree and i challenge myself to paint something on them. So far I'm doing the base layer and wondering how I'm even going to hold these to do any details ๐Ÿ˜‚ what have i done to myself….?!
Should be interesting. Could have probably also picked a puzzle with slightly larger pieces. These are TINY!

Edit: i totally have to try this next because that is too cute! Also, got a super cute 6 pack of diamond shaped palletes at the dollar tree. They had some cute stuff. The pallettes came in different styles, mickey, minnie, trolls (the diamond shape i got) and something else that was butterfly shaped. Really cute. And they have some really nice stickers as well that are 3D and have steampunk-ish skeleton keys and such. Just have to dig for them if your dollar tree is as messy as mine. Oh and cute cat sticky notes as well…. ok I should stop. Going on a tangent about dollar tree art supplies here ๐Ÿ˜‚ I didn't even go in there for that ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  25. Itโ€™s a tiny painting of trees with a back ground of Rocky Mountains๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™.
Everything that she paints is small things in her head is all played and then she puts it in painting small drawing good one.

  26. I love these! They are great little color studies. These would be awesome for an art abandonment project or to leave them in library books for people to find.

  27. Hi Mira! You make amazing art, and you inspired me to do some that Iโ€™m proud of. You also gave great tips on a video which really helped me. You are really nice! Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜

  28. You should do another one but in the dead of making different paintings just make one whole thing if you donโ€™t get what Iโ€™m saying itโ€™s like a tiny squares into a little piece of something and then put it all together it makes one whole thing so yeah please do it I really want to see how it will look

  29. The time of your favorite one:
The time of your least fav one:
What one you want to try and paint:
The t ik me of the one you would want on a shirt:
