Mixing Acrylic, Acryl Gouache and Gouache Paint Layers – Speedpaint

Mixing Acrylic, Acryl Gouache and Gouache Paint Layers – Speedpaint

it’s layering time and I have lots of
layers for you today to watch unfold in my art project and I hope that it makes
you wanna go and reach for your paintbrushes and do some art yourself
now everything that I’ve used is listed in the description as always and there’s
some layers of a click paint in this one there’s also some layers of gouache and
acrylic gouache because well basically I was experimenting to see how all these
products work together and that’s really the aim of this double page spread in my
junk journal today so I hope you enjoy it watching a piece develop and I will
catch you again at the other end [MUSIC] do you see all the problems I was having
with my pens I think I cut quite a lot of it out because there was a lot of
frustration or I was trying to move the nib up and down to get the flow running
and also shaking to get the ink moving around and none of it was really working
and it took a lot of time and effort and I think what was happening was that the
gouache it just comes off too easily the layers and it was clogging up my nibs so
drying on this surface was a little bit frustrating
so that’s night to remember for next time I’m it could mean it could actually
be that my nibs need replacing I’m not 100% sure it might not be the gouache at
all but there were a couple of times when I did have to take excess flakes of
other paint off of the nibs and I just did this with a bit of kitchen towel but
I do really like the end result and I hope you enjoyed watching it all come
together now either go and do some out yourself
or what’s these videos next for some more inspiration I’ll see you over there

  1. Another yummy layout! What time and number was the yellow handled paint brush you used for a lot of the mark making?

  2. Hi Kim. Before you put on the large leaf shapes it had a Klimt {the kiss} and after you put on the smaller leaves it brought to mind two birds in the forest. Thank you πŸ‘πŸΎ

  3. When you started smearing the pink and blue paint over all the other layers I thought oh she’s spoiled it now but then of course you started doodling and everything came right again. Now I can see Zulu spears with feathers. Very colourful xx

  4. Wonderful spread, Kim! I love all the colors, layers and the composition. Apart from the pen issue, it seems like you had so much fun creating this and thatΒ΄s so inspiring. Tfs, hugs, Fia

  5. Soooo………beautiful I love your art πŸ˜šπŸ˜šπŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜™πŸ˜™πŸ˜™β€β€β€β€β€β€πŸ’™πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’•πŸ’ŸπŸ’ŸπŸ’žπŸ’“πŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’—πŸ’πŸ’πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

  6. As I said on IG, this one is so pretty. Just love it. I saw you struggling with your paint pens and know that frustration. I struggle with mine too. 😣 TFS this, you are so talented and I love watching you paint. πŸ’—πŸ’™πŸ’›
