Most Chilling EVP Recordings Ever Captured

– How you doing? I’m Kallen and this is Slapped Ham. From an EVP recorded in an old cinema to another captured in a
haunted railway station, today we’re looking at the most chilling EVP
recordings ever captured. But as always, before we dive
in, hit that Subscribe button for more scary content just like this. (chilling subsonic booming) EVPs, or electronic voice phenomena, are audio recordings that are believed to contain voices of the dead. As new recording technology developed, it was utilized by
mediums during the 1800s and early 1900s as a way
of demonstrating contact with the spirit world. The great American
inventor, Thomas Edison, once mentioned in an interview with Scientific American that, if spirits were capable
of subtle influences, a sensitive recording
device would provide a better chance of spirit communication than the table-tipping and Ouija boards that mediums employed at the time. Today audio recording devices are still a popular tool used
by paranormal investigators who attempt to capture
proof of ghosts and spirits. In March, 2010 the American
Paranormal Research Association released this video on
their YouTube channel. It contains an EVP that was recorded while they were conducting
a joint investigation with the Los Angeles
Paranormal Association and several others at the Linda Vista Community
Hospital in Los Angeles. The hospital was first opened in 1904 and was originally intended
to service railroad employees. By the late 1970s, the facility was in decline as the surrounding area was now less affluent, and funding for the hospital was affected. The hospital was also
blamed for an increase in patient death rates due to a reduction in operational expenses. However, at the time the
facility was treating a large number of stabbings
and gunshot wounds, which was more likely to be the cause of its higher-than-average
mortality rates. Finally closed in 1991,
the hospital soon became a favorite creepy filming location. Some of the work shot
within the facility include the 1999 supernatural action horror film, End of Days, starring
Arnold Schwarzenegger and the popular television
series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This EVP was captured
during the investigation in the hospital’s basement
hallway that led to the morgue. On the recording you can hear one of the group asking the question, “How are you associated
with the hospital?” An eerie voice is then heard
replying, “We’re not dead.” – [Investigator] How are you
associated with the hospital? – [Eerie Voice] We’re not dead. – [Kallen] It’s been suggested
that the voice might belong to a former patient of
the haunted hospital, one, perhaps, whose body’s
been stored in the morgue. But what could it mean
by, “We’re not dead?” Let us know what you think in
the comments section below. – [Eerie Voice] We’re not dead. – Hey peeps, just a quick interlude to let you know today’s video is brought to you by RAID: Shadow Legends on mobile. Paranormal Society and uploaded to Paranormal
Contact’s YouTube channel in May, 2012. The EVP was recorded at a place commonly referred to as the Hellfire Club in County Dublin, Ireland. The club, which is now an old ruin, sits atop of Montpelier Hill and was originally constructed as a hunting lodge. It was built using several stones from a prehistoric grave that sat on the location, and
shortly after completion, a giant storm blew the roof off. Locals thought it was
the work of the Devil, punishment for interfering
with the ancient grave. Between 1735 and 1741, the
building became a meeting place for the Irish Hellfire Club. Some accounts of the club’s meetings claim that they left a chair vacant at each gathering for the Devil,
and local lore tells stories of the club’s debauchery,
occult practices, and demonic manifestations. Their mascot, a large black cat, is believed to still haunt
the ruins to this day. The first and most compelling
of the EVPs recorded at the Hellfire Club was captured just as the group were leaving
to go outside for a break. It sounds like a voice
forcefully saying, “Get out.” (crew members muttering) – [Whispering Voice] Get out. (crew members muttering) [Whispering Voice] Get out. – [Kallen] The second EVP was captured just as one of the group turned
on their audio equipment. Less convincing than the first recording, the investigators believe
it’s a voice saying, “Take one of us.” – [High-Pitched Voice] Take one of us. – [Crew Member] Hey, why don’t we just– – [High-Pitched Voice] Take one of us. – [Crew Member] Hey,
why don’t we just check in on that device and
put next to it there? We can speak into it. – [Kallen] What do you
think the voice is saying? Have the investigators
actually captured the voices of some sort of manifestation, one that was brought forward, perhaps, during one of the Hellfire
Club’s bizarre ceremonies? This chilling EVP recording was uploaded to projectghosts’ YouTube
channel in August, 2010. It was captured during a
paranormal investigation at a squash club in Swinton,
South Yorkshire, UK. Originally a movie house known as the Roxy cinema, the
building was first opened on the 15th of July, 1929. It had a stadium-style auditorium with a maximum seating capacity of 904. On the 3rd of April, 1965, the cinema suddenly closed its doors despite still having the coming
attractions advertised. The building was eventually turned into a skate center, and
then later a squash club. According to the video’s description, the club’s manager had
reported the presence of a shadow ghost and had also seen several bottles moving by themselves. During their investigation
of the old building, the paranormal researchers managed to capture this EVP of
what they believe is someone saying, “I am one down here.” (crew members muttering) – [Creepy Voice] I’m one down here. – [Kallen] Others who have
heard the clip have suggested that the voice might actually be saying, “I’m not done here.” – [Creepy Voice] I’m not done here. – [Kallen] Have these
paranormal investigators actually captured proof of the ghost that is said to be
haunting this old building? What do you think the
voice is actually saying? Let us know what you think in
the comments section below. While Ghost Investigator Society members, Brendan Cook and Barbara
McBeath, were exploring an abandoned mental asylum in Ogden, Utah, they managed to capture
a very chilling EVP. (inaudible high-pitched voice speaking) This audio, taken from an excerpt of the program, Midnight in the Desert, was uploaded to the YouTube
channel, KP, in September, 2015. According to Cook and McBeath, they were called in to investigate by the current owner of the property after several strange occurrences were reported during renovations. After searching the building, Cook decided to leave his mic in one of the rooms. Several minutes passed before it suddenly picked up a series
of very chilling noises. Among the noises, you can
hear what sounds like a voice. Some believe it could be
a woman or child saying, “Help me, help me. “I’m drowning. “I can’t breathe.” – [Soprano Voice] Help me. Help me. I’m drowning. (low-pitched voice muttering) I can’t breathe. – [Kallen] The recording also sounds as if it’s picked up the voice of a male that seems to be grunting intermittently between the cries for help. – [Soprano Voice] Help me. I’m drowning. (demonic-sounding voice mumbles) I can’t breathe. – [Kallen] The audio then continues for several more seconds before the sound of splashing water can be heard. – [Soprano Voice] I can’t breathe. (splashing) – [Kallen] This recording is one of the clearest EVPs ever captured, and as so is thought by
some skeptics to be a hoax. However, many other believe that it proves that the dead are capable of communicating with us. Perhaps in this case it could be the voice of someone who was forcibly
drowned in a bathtub. Cook claims that there was no one in the building at the time
the recording was made. He thinks that it could be some kind of residual audio loop that
is present in the atmosphere. McBeath agrees, adding that she feels like the voice belongs to a person who wants somebody to know
what happened to them. What do you think? Have the investigators
really captured the voice of someone who drowned
in this mental asylum, or could there be another explanation for this startling audio recording? – [Soprano Voice] Help me. I’m drowning. (low-pitched garbled speaking) – [Kallen] Before we get
to that number one spot and take a listen to one of the most chilling EVP
recordings ever captured, remember to hit that Subscribe button and turn on channel notifications. (clicks) That way you’ll be in the loop
about all our latest videos. (clicks) In March, 2010 the American
Paranormal Research Association uploaded a video to their YouTube channel that contains what many believe to be one of the clearest
EVP recordings ever captured. It was recorded at the
Saugus train station in Santa Clarita, California. The station is now a
popular tourist attraction. However, when it first opened in 1887, waiting cowboys were occasionally known to shoot up the depot as a way of greeting the arriving trains. The station was also the scene of the famous train robbery where, one night, in 1929, outlaw
Buffalo Tom Vernon derailed and looted engine number 59. The depot was finally
closed in November, 1978, shortly after it was moved
to its present location within the William S. Hart Park. The EVP that was captured by the American Paranormal
Research Association was recorded on the second floor of the building when the only people present
were two male investigators. It’s believed by the investigators that the voice belongs to a female who says, “Will that be on the train?” (train crossing bell ringing) (horn blows) – [Female Voice] Will
that be on the train? (male voice speaking inaudibly) – [Kallen] However, one viewer mentioned that they thought it
actually sounded more like, “Will that be our train?” Going on to note that the
voice had the correct accent and syntax for someone who
lived more than 100 years ago. (train crossing bell ringing) (horn blows) – [Female Voice] Will that be our train? (male voice speaking inaudibly) – [Kallen] In the video’s description, it says that the audio’s been reviewed and tested by various professionals and that the titles had been added based on what they think it sounds like. However, you should draw
your own conclusions as to what you think the voice is saying. Does it sound like, “Will
that be on the train?” or more like, “Will that be our train?” (train crossing bell ringing) (horn blows) – [Female Voice] Will that be
(unclearly speaking) train? – [Kallen] Either way, the clarity of the clip is something
that can’t be denied and certainly makes this one of the most chilling EVP
recordings ever captured. (train crossing bell ringing)
(horn blows) – [Female Voice] Will
that be on the train? – If you want more scary content, then check out that
video on the top there, otherwise there’s a creepy
playlist there you can binge on. Now, in the comments section below, let us know which one of these EVPs you thought was the creepiest,
and are they believable? And that’s it for me. I’ll see you all next time. (inhales sharply)

  2. I think it mean we're not dead is our soul is still in the earthly realm and has not pass over the other side.

  3. It's true when the spirit leaves the body the spirit does not die but should've gone to there final resting place in heaven but in some cases the spirit does not find rest for some unknown reason the spirit will wonder to find peace and comfort let's say they left the world suffering from the cause of the death like murder the spirit can only be put to rest if the cause of the death is found 🤔with demons they want to return to the earth in body to cause more problems 💡🕆💡

  4. I think the last one actually said, "Will Ed be on the train?", Ed or Dad is what it sounded like to me.

  5. Dude, can you please stop explaining the bits we can see and hear, it's a waste of time and irritating. Thax

  6. Harry Houdini was big into this type of activity, told his wife if there was a way to contact her after death, he would. I’m almost positive he never was able to get through to her. :(.

  7. I don’t know why but After hearing the EVP saying help me I’m drowning I can’t breathe I don’t know why I felt a little emotional and heavy on my chest it was weird.. if you decide to do video about spirits caught in a picture I have a picture I took years ago of want i believe there’s a spirit sitting on The couch at my brothers house

  8. Number 3 is not the squash club its a pub/gym down the road, I live near Swinton and know the guy responsible for recording that EVP

  10. For the first video "we're not dead" I've read that some people that have passed on don't realize they are actually dead. It would make sense as well if they passed in such a horrible way that when they pass over to the other side and have noone to help them realize that they infact are actually dead, that would make them "believe" they still are alive.

  11. What the voice means when said that they're not dead is that they aren't dead. The demons are the offspring of the Fallen Angels and humans or animals or creatures. They were not ordained by God. They shouldn't exist. They're half physical and half spirit. During the great flood their physicals were destroyed but their spirits remain. Their spirit won't die until God cast them into the lake of fire.

  12. The last one seems so real.  I've heard EVPs on Coast to Coast and never knew what to make of them.  But the last one here is great.  I vote for "Will that be our train?"

  13. Some spirits, whose body had a sudden or premature or brutal death do not realize they are dead. So it could very well be that they do not know or realize they have passed on.

  14. Been listening to Coast to Coast am since 95 and Brendan & Barbara are the best paranormal investigators for EVP never forget hearing the one you have here in early 2000s scared the bejeesus out of me at 3 am

  15. In mental asylums, one treatment was dunking patients in ice cold baths. Maybe one doctor got a little over enthusiastic and held a patient under the water for too long…

Also, am I the only one who saw the Deathly Hallows graffiti on the wall?

  16. #5 Mark and Debbie Constantino we’re in the video and Debbie was VERY good! I investigated with her many times and some of the recordings we caught I would never believe if I wasn’t there! I learned a lot investigating with her, she was very sweet!

  17. Some of the dead most definitely dont know that they're dead and I believe the EVP taken in the morgue is just that. Theres many theories on why they think they're not dead including but not limited to denial, unfinished business, simply a lack of knowing or unable to pass on to the other side leaving them in a, "limbo" like state.

  18. She’s saying “ we’ll that be our train “ I’m very sure of it… i love watching haunted thing…horror is my favourite!!! Omg i love #slappedham

  19. That drowning evp is so creepy it scared me pretty badly when I listened to it the first time 3 years ago. I couldn't sleep the next night because it played in my head on a loop.

  20. I've investigated the ogden building many times. It was crazy active. Something liked to imitate or fearless leader's voice when he wasn't even near the building. A young girl singing ring around the rosies. And I had a ping pong ball thrown at me out of the empty morgue. And a young man WAS drown Under the building in a colvert.

  21. I think that she says,” Will that be our train?” Creepy but really interesting too. Most of these EVP’s don’t sound threatening just bits of conversations.

  22. Anyone who doesn't believe in EVP should try record themselves. They may be surprised at what they hear on the recording. A theory is that our surroundings act as a recorder when conditions are right…and play back. The voice is saying "I'm not done here". Its clear.
The train… Was the sound also part of the EVP? Trains don't talk or are a living entity and neither was the water in the other EVP.. So is it not possible that conditions were right for this to have been 'played back' to listeners? I guess when people ask questions for answers to simple Math questions, then maybe a real ghost has been recorded PROVIDED they answer correctly.

  23. It's already proven multiple times that there are other beings living with us, some believe that it's a ghost but some believe it's a demon because once youre dead your soul sleeps until judgement day.. I have also experienced paranormal.I am not like the others that easily believes without validation. Some of this are convincing but I dont know if someone faked it but it could be possible.

  24. I think when they said we're not dead is because they believe they aren't dead and that they think they are still alive .

  25. I accidentally recorded an evp. I used to take singing lessons years ago with my teacher for years. We would have our lesson in a rented room that had a sound proof waiting room where my mother would wait. So it was only me and my teacher. She would tape record our lessons so I could come home and use it for practice. Amongst the lessons, were our conversations, veering off topic. Well when I was listening to the tape that week, there's a point where I said something funny, I'm laughing, she's laughing, then a 3rd voice ( a man's voice) can be heard laughing. My heart dropped , I made my brother listen to it and even my teacher, everyone was pretty freaked out . Might I add it was only is 3 women in that room and the building was vacant as my lessons were always after hours.

  26. The last one played “will that be on are train” is what it sounds like to me. The rest where harder to tell

  27. The final recording is very believable, and it definitely says, "Will that be OUR train?" That definitely fits within both the context of the location and the proper syntax of the era,

  28. If the person they claim said she was drowning, and I can't breathe, were certainly saying so in a calm, matter of fact voice!

  29. People need to stop communicating with the dead. They can not communicate back. These are transactions from Satan and his people to pretend they are the deceased. Plus, the Lord has asked us not to do this. It is against his will.
