Painting With Yovette, What happened to me!

Painting With Yovette, What happened to me!

Well Hi Everyone, my name is Yovette for
those of you who don’t know me, for those of you who do know me hello again! You’ve
not seen me for a while, I’ve not been posting I’ve not answered any emails
I’ve not answered any comments on YouTube and I’m so sorry for that but
life’s events have taken over my life has changed drastically within the last
month and so I’ve just not been able to to work on YouTube like I previously had
or to answer emails and stuff so I’ll explain that in a minute but first I
wanted to say Bonnie thank you so much I got these darling darling little
earrings that is a palette it’s got stones and it makes it look like a
palette for painting and it was really a sweet gift and I also wanted to say
thank you Marilyn for all these beautiful cards and letters and from
other people too just beautiful correspondence and I appreciate that so
much you guys are all just so wonderful. So anyway my life event which has
changed my husband did get he has gotten worse and so we have had to put our
acreage up for sale and so I’m gonna miss all my sweet
little deer and the squirrels and the birds and just the wonderful area that
we lived in for quite a few years now we’ve had to put that up for a sale. We
have moved into one of these retirement centers now where they have assisted
living if need be so they’re very good here we’re very happy and they’re taking
good care of us. I’m still in the process of moving we still have not got
everything organized yet it has been a horrendous job for the last there’s been
over a month now that I have been working very hard to get things all
taken care of. Unfortunately hubby hasn’t been able to
help very much but I know he’s been so supportive in so many other ways.
So anyway I wanted to let you know what was going on I do have a video coming
out on April April 1st and it will be of the mountain I did a mountain video for
you unfortunately after that I will not be
doing any more videos. For one thing I cannot have the paint around my husband
the apartment that we’re in is way too small to even even consider painting
it’s gonna make me sad but that’s the way it has to be for right now we live
in a little one-bedroom we’ve downsized to a one-bedroom one-bath apartment very
very tiny cute as a bug’s ear but very tiny so I won’t be able to do any
painting here plus I do not have any internet so for all of you wonderful
people who have been writing me so many letters that I have just gotten but have
not had a chance to respond to any of them yet I will definitely respond to
you as quickly as I can. It may be a while because I have to go somewhere
else for Internet so anyway I just want to thank you all for being so supportive
through these years and for being such wonderful viewers I have made such great
relationships and I just love all of you and so I just wanted to tell you or get
you up to date as to what was going on you will not see me anymore for a while
in the future I plan to come back yes I do but it’s not going to be for a while
yet so anyway my blessings to all of you take care best wishes and
that’s it thank you so much bye-bye

  22. Yovette, It's hard to add to what's already been posted but I will miss your wonderful and  self effacing approach to teaching. It takes broad shoulders to reveal one's fallibility but you do so with cheerful elan…. and we less talented can identify directly with all of that! I join the others in wishing you and your husband all the very best as you enter this new phase of life. With love, misses and many thanks for all you've shared, Denny & Nydia

  25. Hi Yovette, this is a heart breaker. I must confess that i have not been painting since last sept after my art exhibition in Oct 2019. Changes around my house and daycare business hrs have been long. Hence, fatigue has been the cause!. I will miss you terribly Yovette. I will be watching your videos and continue to learn from one the best artist/tutor in the world. I will remember you and yr husband in my daily prayers. Jesus is our great physician and healer. Continue to trust him. Sometimes things happen for a reason. Love you so much and take care.

  26. Yovette, I am so sorry to hear this, I hope you will follow me on Ben Stivers Fine Art here on youtube so we can keep in touch! Love you bunches! Ben

I will keep you in my thoughts and my heart. You are a wonderful person and teacher. Much love to you.

  29. I'm so sorry your husband is not well and you've had to go through so many changes. I really enjoyed your videos and hope to see you again real soon! Please take care of you along the way on your journey 🙏❣️❣️

  30. I am so saddened by video announcement that you will be leaving of awhile. I am very sorry to hear that your husband’s illness has gotten worse, and that has to be very hard on you, as well as moving from a big home to a smaller one . That is a tremendous challenge to say the least.
You are a wonderful artist, and teacher, thank you for sharing with all of us viewers out here. I will definitely miss your tutorials, but will look forward to the day you are able to return. Life often gives us obstacles and challenges that can seem overwhelming at times, but with God’s help we can get through them. My prayer is for comfort, strength and for you to be surrounded with love. May God bless you and Carson 💜 PS… I will be looking forward to April 1.

  31. Dear Yovette and hubby,I wanted to first let you know how sad and yet excited I am for the both of  you. I first hand want to tell you I fully understand your situation 125%. I am a Canadian artist  and my life sounds like yours on many levels. My husband took sick in 1993 and over the years we also had to move from our country home. My studio was a home based one like yours I did not teach via utube as I teach once a week at a 55+ center. What I want to share with you is when one gets sick and out of love we do the only right thing it does come with so many odd feelings, I was there. Here is what I want to share with you once you get settled into your new apartment find out of you can teach in the common room once a month. When we moved into this block some new I was a artist and asked me to please consider hosting a afternoon workshop.I gave it a try with permission from the owner of the block and now once a month I give a class. I keep the cost down to a set fee per student and I supply what I am teaching that day. It gives me control of the supplies as well as project. Like you that has a lot to offer I am sure they would jump at having a art teacher in resident. I do not do it for a big fee I do cover my cost and supplies and it does keep me motivated to be able to offer my techniques to so many willing students.I know you would also have a following very fast you have a great deal to offer. I have enjoyed watching you and seeing how much talent you have to share. It would be a real disappointment if you had to put away your brushes for too long. I am telling you this because when my husband took sick and I mean deaths door sick it was a safe place for me to rest my soul. No one understands how that feels unless they are living that scary life with a sick person. In doing this for yourself you will find the strength to be there for him.I just wanted you to know you will be missed and thought of often, my prayers go out to you and your love. I have heard you speak of him and how he made you those paint tube holders, I sure wish I had a few of those, a very talented man.   When you talked of him your eyes lit up and your sense of pride was beaming, it was a joy to see.Again I wish you both blessings and I will pray for the two of you. Art is a gift and it will be there for you when you call on it do not lose site of that. Again thank you for your amazing art  and I hope to hear from you when you have the time.Sending BLESSINGS!Sandra A.

  37. Hi Yovette, First, thank you for all you do for us artists at home or in their studio or wherever we paint from. You have certainly brightened and enlightened my days! Now it is time for you to focus more on your own life, I understand that, but we will sure miss seeing your lovely smile and hearing your soothing voice as you lead us in our quest for 'more art knowledge'! We reside on an acreage in Alberta, Canada and I cringe at the meer thought of giving it up but I know that day will come for us too. I feel your pain there. Please stay safe from this virus and enjoy your new surroundings with your hubby. Blessings to you both and your family 💕

  38. Hello dear friend…I’ve been thinking of you and hubby and pray for you both in these circumstances you find yourselves in. Keep leaning on the “Rock that cannot move” . Many prayers from all over the world are with you both. I look forward to seeing you paint again….you are a precious gift to me and your lovely self blesses your YouTube family.

  39. I’m so sorry to hear about your hubby, I hope he is on the way of recovery. I also have to thank you for sharing your wonderful paintings with us.may the lord bless you and your husband.
